- Select appropriate enteral and parenteral nutrition formulations, routes, administration methods, and access considerations based on patient-specific clinical factors.
- Interpret laboratory, clinical, and monitoring data to identify nutrition support problems, adjust therapy, and choose the most appropriate next step.
- Apply sterile compounding, compatibility, stability, labeling, storage, and workflow principles in realistic exam-style nutrition support pharmacy scenarios.
- Use regulations-, standards-, and compliance-aware reasoning for documentation, compounding, dispensing, and operational decisions while recognizing when local/state/federal or site-specific requirements may vary.
